Since 1988 Century Media Records has consistently become one of the world's leading independent metal record labels, with seven current offices worldwide. Delivering quality releases from an array of artists that span the genres of traditional, goth, death, black, power metal and hardcore, Century Media's influence on the world's current metal scene(s) has steadily increased throughout this decade. Flagship artists such  as Samael, Tiamat, The Gathering, Moonspell, Iced Earth and Stuck Mojo have been around since the label's early days, while newcomers to the label such as Skinlab, Lacuna Coil and Cryptopsy have vaulted from cult phenoms to viable contenders in the last couple of years. As the world's metal genres continue to grow and expand on themselves and past accomplishments, the visibility of the music itself becomes brighter every year, and every year Century Media continues to push the boundaries and propel their artists into the public eye. Annual hard rock/metal festivals such as Dynamo Open Air in Eindhoven, Milwaukee Metal Fest in the US, Wacken and With Full Force in Germany, and of course Monsters Of Rock continue to attract more fans each time, and each year more and more Century Media bands appear at these festivals. As well as marketing and selling music from all Century Media artists, the label's Los Angeles operation distributes albums and music from over 80 other independent labels from around the world (many of which would not have distribution in certain territories without CM), making the Century Media Mail Order department one of the busiest branches that the company currently has going. If you'd like to send us a demo of your band, or the band you're representing, please follow the instructions listed below. The Demo Policy We do listen to every submission that comes to Century Media although it can take some time for us to get to listen to them all. If we like the demo we will contact you. On the other hand if we don't like it, we will not contact you. This policy is the result of both a heavy workload and severe time restraint. Suggestions and Requirements Please send either a Compact Disc or a Cassette. Do not send any other formats like Video Cassettes, Mini-Discs, DATs, MP3s, or Vinyl as they are not accepted for submitting music. Also, send all the contact information possible along with your package (phone, fax, address, e-mail, etc.) so that if we like it, we'll be able to contact you quickly and easily.
