FlyKKiller to najnowszy projekt mieszkającej od kilku lat w Londynie Pati Yang. Drugą ważną postacią w zespole jest Steven Hilton, prywatnie mąż artystki, a zawodowo współpracownik m.in. Dawida Holmesa. Zespół Yang i Hiltona, nazywany electro terrorystami, został okrzyknięty przez opiniotwórczy "Sunday Times" za objawienie, a ich debiutancki krążek za jeden z najważniejszych albumów 2007 roku.

Płyta "Experiments in Violent Light" stanowi kronikę dziejów istoty V - jej odkrycia, pojmania i ocalenia - za pomocą elektronicznie symulowanej transmisji muzycznej. "Genetycznie zmutowane brzmienia mają ostrość i chłód The Knife oraz dzikość Siouxsie Sioux and The Creatures. Frazy piosenek są naszpikowane mikrobeatami, niczym gotyckimi wieżyczkami. Mocna i psychodeliczna muzyka jest doskonałym tłem dla szepczącej i lamentującej wokalistki, która wyśpiewuje pełne magii pieśni niczym groźne zaklęcia. Każda piosenka przypomina niepokojący obrazek z nieistniejącej opowieści Davida Lyncha,
a rytmy podkładu terkoczą w stylu minimalnego hip hopu i mechanicznych breaków z electro finezją".

Pati Yang - jedna z najbardziej cenionych polskich artystek sceny niezależnej, która wydała swój pierwszy, świetnie przyjęty album w wieku 18 lat. Specjalistka od elektroballad, której syreni śpiew i muzyczno-artystyczne eksperymenty zdobyły uznanie wśród krytyków i zapewniły artystce występy na stadionowej trasie koncertowej Depeche Mode w roli supportu.

Stephen Hilton - współpracownik Davida Holmesa, współzałożyciel The Free Association i autor beatów do wielu ścieżek dźwiękowych, w tym dwóch filmów o Bondzie, Moulin Rouge, Ocean's 11,12 i 13, producent albumów takich gwiazd, jak Pulp, Depeche Mode czy Trevor Horn. Stephen jest również współautorem piosenek na nowym albumie Siouxsie Sioux.

Flykkiller Research (czyt: flajkiler rise_rcz) The FlyKKiller story is that the songs contained within this album are recorded by an extra terrestrial called V who created this album (whilst in captivity in the FlyKKiller Institute in Poland) as a vessel in which to pass on her peaceful communications to us earthlings. However the otherworldly recordings have been seized from her by her captors at The FlyKKiller Institute, and sold to fund their scientific research. Additional information is being presented via physical formats, downloadable files and live demonstrations. The album chronicles her tale of discovery, capture and salvation, through electronically simulated musical transmissions. The genetically mutated sound comes out as sharp and cold as The Knife and as feral as Siouxsie Sioux and the Creatures. Micro beats punctuate song lines like spiked gothic turrets, and with a pummelling band behind her our front woman whispers and wails enchanting songs like threatening spells, each song a disturbed vignette into a David Lynch-like story, whilst the underlying beats stutter through minimal hip hop and mechanical breaks with electro finesse, FlyKKiller's 96 eyes stay firmly fixed on all musical and artistic movements. Behind the FlyKKiller conspiracy are; Pati Yang who is one of Poland's most acclaimed electronic artists who released a critically revered album at 18 years old; an electronic balladeer whose sirenesque tones and joy of experimentation in music and the arts have earned her artistic acclaim as well as stadium tour support for Depeche Mode. Stephen Hilton is the musical partner of David Holmes, co founder of The Free Association, and the beats behind many soundtracks for films such as two James Bond movies , Hot Fuzz, Moulin Rouge, Ocean's 11 ,12 13, and he has produced albums with the likes of Pulp, Depeche Mode and Trevor Horn. Stephen also co-wrote with Siouxsie Sioux on her new album.
