Kingston Kitchen 809 - International Ska-Vaganza feat. Dr. Ring-Ding and members of the RSJF.

Kingston Kitchen have built their reputation as an international live band for the past few years, playing shows all over Europe with their very special own mix of jazzy old school Ska and entertainment. The band was founded in the summer of 2004 when Dr. Ring Ding and members of the Rotterdam Ska-Jazz Foundation (RSJF) joined forces, complementing each others musical strengths.

Kingston Kitchen will delight Ska, Jazz and World Music fans alike. On the menu you will find a fine blend of self penned songs that will make you think of Sixties Jamaica, mixed with a taste of Russia, or Texas, imbued with the heat of the funky Caribbean and topped by a soulful Vegas-like atmosphere. In addition to that, Kingston Kitchen has prepared extraordinary versions of Jazz, Pop and Rock songs from Elvis Presley, AC/DC, and Michel Legrand to name a few….
