Lombelico del Mondo jest zespołem niezwykłym. Składa się z 30 młodych ludzi, którzy grają na bębnach muzykę wielu kultur: od korzennych brzmień afrykańskich po brazylijską sambę. Istnieją od 2006 roku, ale już teraz mają wiele sukcesów na swoim koncie. Jednym z nich jest tegoroczny koncert w Sali Kongresowej przed fińskimi „Wrzeszczącymi Facetami”.
L'ombelico del Mondo - czyli Pępek Świata zakłada, że centrum wydarzeń jest tam, gdzie są ludzie i chęć do działania oraz realizacji oryginalnych, nieszablonowych pomysłów. Miejsce jest tylko miejscem, najważniejsi są ludzie, którzy kształtują świat wokół siebie. Oni są właśnie pępkiem świata - bez względu na to gdzie się znajdują.

The samba school is an association, the L'OMBELICO DEL MONDO takes care about. The association began in February, 2006. It strives for propagating and aiding youth in their artistic development. The association combines artists from each part of Poland, whose interests are music, theatre, dance and generally speaking, circus-related art. Their task is to create artistic groups and conduct local meetings and workshops. The L'OMBELICO DEL MONDO samba school gathers 30 people of age ranging from 16 to 30. The school launched in Kampinos and was a place of training and rehearsals till December 2005. After some time the team became reinforced by people from Sochaczew who are now the majority of the team. That's why the rehearsals were moved to the Municipal Culture Centre in Boryszew. We organise events in cooperation with fireshow-related people, street theatres, jugglers and DJ's. We conduct parades, workshops as well as theatrical, percussion, juggling and dance workshops. To be precise: "The bellybutton the world revolves around" because Sochaczew/Blonie/Kampinos will always lose with Warsaw/Berlin/Paris. It's not for us. Our centre of the world is where we are: no matter if it's London or anywhere else. Like the ol' grandpa Marx used to say: Existence defines consciousness, regardless of the place, adds uncle Janek. "The world's bellybutton" is a street samba, Fireshow (written with a capital letter) as well as juggling in general, parades, music... and everything that's precious and beautiful in our centre of the world.
