Hiszpańska formacja Ojos de Brujo, czyli po naszemu "Oczy Czarodzieja", działa aktywnie od połowy lat 90. Ojos de Brujo często nazywani są przedstawicielami 'nuevo flamenco'. Za tym niezwykle chwytliwym frazesem kryje się jednak wybuchowa mieszanka gatunków, w której nakładają się na siebie wpływy flamenco, rumby, hip-hopu oraz dubu. Wszystko to zagrane jest każdorazowo z niezwykłą energią i niepodważalną charyzmą. Podczas tras koncertowych muzykom towarzyszy para tancerzy flamenco oraz rozbudowana sekcja dęta, dzięki czemu każdy ich występ staje się prawdziwą muzyczno-taneczną fiestą.

W ciągu ostatniej dekady "Oczom Czarodzieja" udało się zebrać wierną rzeszę fanów oraz zasłużyć na największe muzyczne wyróżnienia (BBC Radio Awards for World Music "Best European Act" w roku 2004, nagroda Grammy w kategorii Latino w roku 2007).

Najnowszy album Barcelończyków został wydany pod koniec marca 2009 roku przez europejski oddział Warnera. Ojos de Brujo raz jeszcze zabrzmieć ma rumbą katalońską (czyli tak, jak wszystkie poprzednie dokonania zespołu), ale ustępując dotychczasowej fascynacji hip-hopem. Do starych, gitarowych patentów dołączą rytmy karaibskie, smakowite sekcje dęte i fortepian.

The journey of Ojos de Brujo (ODB) started well before they began to know one other. In the depths of their previous experiences. In their fascination with the rhythmical treasures of the planet and the languages of flamenco.
In 1999, the group recorded its first album, 'Vengue', and, going against conventional industry wisdom, they created their own structure and team for promotion, production, and recording of all future material.
Without industry pressure, they were free to take a new direction in 2002 with their second album “Bari,” and then toured the globe, playing in the most important jazz, rock, and world music festivals such as Glastonbury, Rosklide, Summerstage NY Central Park, Lowlands, Montreal Jazz... Japan, Colombia, Morocco, Cuba, Mexico, Hungary, France, and Germany.
A lovingly and luminously designed album, ODB´s new release “Techarí” is alive with the colors, flavors, and textures that arise while exploring the group's visual world, and therefore is published in both a standard edition as well as a deluxe booklet featuring artists' interpretations of each song.
Currently, they are on the Techarí World Tour and gathering material for their next album. It is a voyage that has only just begun, set to continue into parts unknown...
