Możesz się na nich obrazić, możesz za nimi szaleć. Pomimo stosunkowo krótkiej kariery, Rotofobia zdążyła wyrobić sobie opinię zespołu, który się kocha albo nienawidzi. Dla Sebastiana B, charyzmatycznego lidera zespołu rockn’n’roll to nie tylko muzyka, to sposób na życie i wyrażenie samego siebie w każdej chwili, na scenie i poza nią. Ascetyczny skład Rotofobii uzupełniają Szymon (bas, klawisz) i Arkus (perkusja) znany z grup Komety i Partia.

Współtwórcy warszawskiej sceny indie, inicjatorzy niekonwencjonalnych występów i guerilla gigów, muzycy mają też na koncie błyskotliwe sukcesy medialne (finał konkursu „Expresowy Start” w radiowej „Trójce”) i występy na dużej scenie (Open’er Festiwal 2005). Po krótkim okresie nieobecności, formacja powraca w nowym składzie i z nowym materiałem.

W muzyce zespołu można odnaleć przede wszystkim inspiracje najnowszymi nurtami garage rocka. Członkowie ROTOFOBII nie ukrywają fascynacji zjawiskami, które mają miejsce obecnie, zwłaszcza na scenie nowojorskiej.

You can either take offence at them or be crazy about them. Despite their relatively short career Rotofobia managed to establish a reputation as a band which you may love or hate. For Sebastian B, the hypnotizing charismatic leader of the band Rock 'n' roll is not just the music but his way of life and an inseparable means to express himself in any time, both on stage and backstage. An ascetic Rotofobia’s lineup complete Szymon (Bass Guitar, Keyboard) and Arkus (Drums) known for other musical projects- Komety and Partia. Rotofobia, the originators of the unconventional performances and guerrilla gigs, have been consistently popularizing the Warsaw indie musical movement. Moreover, the musicians have achieved a brilliant success in the media (The Express Start Finale- an unsigned bands competition organized by Polish Radio Program3) as well as the success of performing on a stage (Open’er Festival 2005). Finally, after a short period of absence the band returns with revised lineup, improved attitude, and with a new material. Late summer and autumn you will have the opportunity to see them live at the long-expected concerts.

I was looking in the internet for some information, when I ran into these guys. Lucky me, the track Jeden dzien started right away. Somewhere in the new post punk rock scene, followers of a sound close to Death From Above 1979, Gang of Four, or the most recent Interpol or She Wants Revenge, their music grabs us suddenly to never let us go again. Distorced guitars driven to the limit, noisy, dirty and loud...... The bass, drums and vocals (how incredible they can sound in Polish) all together make their songs sound so new, so unique, so appealing. Rotofobia are definetively a band to follow closely."
